The Medical Director for the Mat–Su Valley Cancer Center, Dr. Clare Bertucio, says the center will provide radiation and oncology and a “community cancer center” for patients. Dr. Bertucio says patients in Palmer, where the center is located, want to stay closer to home for their treatments.
