Meet Ashley Schwickert, our Registered Dietitian who’s all about transforming lives through nutrition, with a special knack for supporting those battling chronic diseases. Armed with a Master’s degree and a Dietetic internship from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Ashley honed her expertise as the NICU/pediatric and cystic fibrosis dietitian at a bustling hospital in Northwest Indiana before returning to her Alaskan roots.

A true citizen of the world, Ashley’s life as an Army brat has taken her to countless corners of the globe, each one leaving a unique imprint on her heart—no single place claims the title of “home.” Her vibrant spirit thrives on connection, whether she’s strategizing better eating habits or sharing her infectious enthusiasm for wellness.

When she’s not changing the nutrition game, Ashley’s busy keeping up with her lively almost-2-year-old daughter and devoted husband, alongside their two rambunctious German Shepherds and a dazzling array of saltwater fish. Her free time is a whirlwind of walking, swimming, yoga, jet-setting to new destinations, crocheting cozy creations, and—when she can steal a moment from toddler-chasing—whipping up delectable baked goods.

A proud member of The Mat Su Valley Cancer Center team, Ashley brings her expertise and a refreshing dose of humor to the table. And don’t worry—she’s not here to push kale on anyone (she’s not a fan of it either!). With Ashley, it’s all about practical, personalized nutrition with a dose of good humor on the side.
